Theorems 4.22 and 4.23 imply that computing the localizations of the model category structure on spectral categories from Corollary 2.4 at the triangulated and Morita equivalences (as discussed in Remark 4.3) and passing to the simplicial nerve also yields the $\infty$-categories $\Cat_{\infty}^{\ex}$ and $\Cat_{\infty}^{\perf}$ respectively.
