Remark 3.5. A $d$-operad is intended to bear the same relation to an essentially $d$-operad as a $d$-category does to an essentially $d$-category; i.e. it is a strict model for an $\infty$-operad in which all multi-mapping spaces are $\left(d-1\right)$-truncated.
